Passing Through Paris

Paris, France. The City of Lights. Called the most romantic city by millions.   But, let’s first address the “rude” French people; after all, that is what many of us hear.  I want to let you all know that while I was in Paris, I did not meet any rude French people.  Everyone I spoke to, passed on the street, or had any bit of conversation with was perfectly polite and most were very nice.

European Travel

My favorite traveling so far has been in Europe.  I started overseas travel in 2012 and I know I’ll never stop.  The first time I went, I thought it was a once in a lifetime event, but I don’t think that feeling lasts for many people once they actually experience it. Before I went, I was afraid to go to a place where I didn’t speak the language, concerned about the cost, and not too excited about the long flight.

Well, I’m still not that excited about long flights but I managed to put everything else into perspective.  Some of the places I will be blogging about are Italy, France, The Netherlands, and Ireland.  I plan to share my experiences in addition to some well thought out advice for new overseas travelers, including what to pack!
